Massage & Bodywork
Dylan Louis

Massage...
..its a very special job. I'm very fortunate to have chosen it as one of

my long-term professions - and I'm often told that it shows in my work.

I graduated and was certified based on a 500 hour/ 1 year

certification program at IMI in Southfield Michigan and have been adding

to my expertise ever since. I chose a holistic program over the clinical study

because I felt that ultimately my approach to massage and healing work

would be less "clinical" based on my personality. The course uses

Swedish Massage as a base for the curriculum and the course requires

a minimum of 156 hours of complementary healing courses. This gave

me access to new styles of healing and it was through this prerequisite that I discovered a

whole other world of modalities. I was primarily struck with the course on "Reiki" and over the

years, through a series of "attunements" I have gone on to become a Reiki Master. I was also

moved enough by my sense of smell to complete my studies in an aromatherapy certification course.

Ultimately my job is to make people feel good - and I think that has to be one
of the best jobs a person could ever have.
